The comic above is a new thing we are trying out that is meant to be a quick, fun and easy update that should fill in the gaps between full colour comic and pokedex updates so there is not a big wait for you, the main problem with my current update routine is that colour comics take me a loooooong time since I am not the greatest artist, the only reason I manage to make art half as good as it seems is because I take my sweet time with it. The main purpose of these comics is that they take me a small amount of time to draw and it makes it so we aren’t updating on a 2 weekly basis.

New pokemon have also been added to the pokedex section and some of you may have noticed that I am no longer doing the pokemon in order, this is for multiple reasons but I will refrain from going into too much depth, the main reason is that I want to build up my experience by drawing the easier pokemon first so that the bigger and harder pokemon don’t turn out like venusaur did (in other words I was a little disappointed in venusaur).

The other reason is that I am now taking your opinion into account and allowing you to pick what pokemon I should draw next; you can comment on my deviantART telling me what pokemon you would be interested in me drawing next and I will take all suggestions into consideration.

In the newest comic 'Big Bags' if you are an average WoW player you may recognise where the comic is set if I have pulled it off well enough, it is the weapons shop in the trade district in Stormwind, the guy behind the counter ended up looking more like Ewan McGregor as Obi-wan than the actual salesman in the shop.

I have also added a new 'header' that represents the comic/manga version of Scott pilgrim that is also a new movie coming out soon, pip pip for now.

Recently there has been a lack of content added to the site because I have spent some time practicing new art styles, doing little DeviantART projects, that had no real relevance to this website at the time, and revising for my exams. So from now on we will update as much miscellaneous art possible onto the news page whenever I go off and do something irrelevant to Tranquil, so my recently started project is an attempt to draw all Pokémon; I later realise it would take over 8 years at the least to finish them all on a weekly basis so I then decided to at least do all of the first generation and see how it goes from then on. Hopefully you won’t be disappointed with these updates for I have never met anyone that dislikes Pokémon, it’s a strong part of the younger generations childhood that everyone took part in. The updates may show up on my DeviantART before the site so if this interests any of you then you can watch my profile by clicking the DA symbol at the bottom of the page, another watcher will make a strong impact on my current 10 watchers so I will surely thank you ... and give you a lama (this may sound very strange to anyone who hasn’t heard of deviant art or someone who has been idle for a couple of months, lamas are quite a nice little bribe :D).

The first three Pokémon have been completed (Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur) and the next set will be Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard. Take a look at the Pokédex page here.

If these Pokémon become a big thing then we will probably include them in a separate page eventually, so let’s hope I can stick to it. :D Thankyou for all the support on DeviantART and if you want to leave any feedback on the Pokémon project or suggest any other projects I can start; then you can e-mail me (shown below) or message me on DeviantART (best choice since I barely check my e-mails).

If you remember the last site, and the site before that (and some of you may remember two other sites before that) then you will know that we spend a lot of time building new sites. Usually, we get a great idea for a new layout and start working on it straight away. But somewhere down the line things get complicated, we end up adding pages that would be great if we had the time to fill them and ideas for features that are pointless for our audience. So this time we kept things simple. On a website designers point of view, this site is easy to update and quick to load (There are not large images building up the whole site like the last one). On a comic artist’s point of view, there is no pressure to fill all the pages and you can draw whatever you feel like.

All in all, the new site (for now) is much better for us and for you. I hope you like it!
